Phulia Kalan village in the Bhilwara district of Rajasthan is rapidly emerging as a national model for modern education and sports infrastructure. Ajmer Divisional Commissioner Shakti Singh Rathore (IAS) and retired IAS officer R.S. Shekhawat recently conducted a special inspection of the Government Shri Kalyan Senior Secondary School in Phulia Kalan<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During their visit, the officials extensively reviewed the world-class educational and sports facilities being developed on the school campus at a massive cost of approximately \u20b921 crores, funded by local philanthropists (Bhamashahs). The administrative officials highly praised this extraordinary community-driven initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The transformation of this government school is being spearheaded under the guidance of the Shri Kalyan Seva Sansthan (SKSS) and prominent social worker Satyanarayan Laddha. While interacting with the school administration and SKSS members, the officials described the project as a “historic milestone” for rural development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phulia Kalan is already widely recognized as a “Hockey Village,” where local players have honed their skills on dirt fields to make their mark at the national level. To provide these rural talents with a world-class platform, an International Hockey Federation (FIH) certified Astro Turf Sand Dressed Hockey Field<\/strong> has been constructed between the primary and secondary blocks of the school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This state-of-the-art facility is the first of its kind in North India and Rajasthan to feature modern floodlights, allowing players to practice seamlessly even at night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Free IIT and NEET Coaching for Rural Talent<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The vision behind this \u20b921 crore mega-project extends beyond just physical infrastructure; it aims to deliver top-tier academic quality to rural students. Recently, Rampal Dargad, an alumnus of BITS Pilani who visited the modern facility, made a major announcement. The school will now offer free online coaching classes for national-level competitive exams like IIT-JEE and NEET, in collaboration with ‘IIT Ashram.’<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With expert guidance now available directly within the village, rural students will no longer need to migrate to expensive metropolitan cities for premium coaching. Divisional Commissioner Shakti Singh Rathore lauded this unique integration of high-level academics and sports as an exemplary model for other rural regions across the state.
